PRESENTATION OF THE REGIONAL REPORT ON TOURISM & FREEDOM IN LOMBARDY

On 25th October, at the Pirelli Tower in Milan, APC presented the 2016 Lombard Regional Report on Tourism in Freedom for Campers & Caravans. Issued during the first Lombardy Year of Tourism, the Regional Report is a vital tool to raise interest in tourism throughout Lombardy.
The new Lombard regional law on tourism was approved in 2015, the text focusing on simplification, innovation, integration and transparency. This reform requires high standards for better stopover areas to encourage the use and expansion of the motorhome network.
The numbers from Lombardy speak for themselves: on a national scale, Lombardy has been at or near the top for years in terms of registrations of new and second-hand campers and motorhomes, making up a large slice of national totals.
