Hello everyone!
We’re back with the new issue of APC News, for November 2016. In this edition, we will be giving the lowdown on a recent presentation of the latest Lombard Regional Report on Tourism in Freedom for Campers & Caravans, held in Milan on Tuesday, 25th October. A large number of interesting ideas came up in this year’s Regional Report – let’s take a look at them together.

In our headline story, News Item One, we’ll be giving you an overview of the presentation of the 2016 Regional Report, also thanking Mauro Parolini, Lombardy Regional Economic Development Spokesman, who honoured us with his presence.

News Item Two will contain a more in-depth analysis of the data from the 2016 Regional Report, showing that Lombardy is still Italy’s most important region for new registrations of motor homes and caravans, with one of the country’s lowest ratios between used and new sales.

News item three, meanwhile, investigates the advantages of the Lombard motorhome stopover system, i.e. the quality of the region’s aires and the overall sensitivity towards tourism in freedom.

In “APC World”, we focus on some partnership ideas which Francesca Tonini, APC General Secretary, proposed to Parolini during the presentation.

In the section entitled “Talking of …”, we move onto another topic, the Giubileo del plein air, the Open Air Jubilee held on 20th October in the presence of Pope Francis to which APC had been invited.

Finally, in the section entitled “Stopover of the month”, we’ll be presenting the Acquevive motorhome park in Taranta Peligna, in the central Italian region of Abruzzo.
