HEADLINE NEWS – THE CONFERENCE “DISPOSIZIONI IN MATERIA DI TURISMO ALL’ARIA APERTA” / ROME, MARCH 29TH, 2017
Last March 29th a new draft law on en plein air tourism was presented at the Chamber of Deputies, Rome. This initiative was strongly backed by MP Tiziano Arlotti (PD) and Gianluca Benamati, PD Whipe at the Economic Development Committee, and was signed by 42 Members of Parliament. A crucial aspect of this bill is to simplify and boost some types of vehicles such as motorhomes. APC General Secretary Francesca Tonini attended the Conference and expressed great enthusiasm: “We totally agree with this draft law as it offers considerable support and what’s more, it highlights three pillars in our touristic field: it introduces B+ driving license, promotes old vehicles scrapping and reduced VAT for families with disabled members that are willing to purchase a new vehicle.
In spite of the trend in the rest of Europe, Italy is overcoming almost all European countries as per bills proposed by the government”.
The following also partecipated at the Conference: Maurizio Vianello (FAITA President), Angelo Macola (ASSITAI Confindustria President), Michele Montemagni (President at Assocamping) and Marco Galletti (ECV General Secretary).
