ELECTIONS AT APC
From 1st February 2017, Simone Niccolai is the new President of APC. The Managing Director of the company Luano Camp Srl, owner of the trademark “Rimor”, has convinced all APC members thanks to his experience and expertise in the field. Well-known for over 20 years as one of the entrepreneurs in the caravanning field, Niccolai has served as APC Vice-President since September 2014, and, together with the former President Jan De Haas, attended all initiatives, including the Salone del Camper in Parma, Italian most important exhibition in this field, counting 127,000+ visitors coming from all over the world.
“I am really proud – says the newly elected APC President Simone Niccolai – of the important role I have been assigned by APC members. I will do my best to keep strengthening and promoting the caravanning industry both abroad and with regard to the relationships with Italian public entities so that tourism in freedom can be recognised as one of the pillars for the development of local Administrations. This to enhance motorhome areas all around Italy and offer high-quality services to the 8 million tourists, Italians as well as foreigners, who every year choose Italy as the destination of their holidays in motorhomes and caravans”.
Niccolai will work together with André Miethe – currently serving as Managing Director of Laika, elected as APC Vice-President and Treasurer.
Furthermore, during a meeting chaired by Gianni Brogini, APC Marketing Director, the mandate was extended to Pascal Sanguinet as President of the Parts Manufacturers Group, also including AL-KO Kober, ArSilicii, CBE, CTA, Dimatec, Dometic, Fiamma, FIAT FCA Group, Innova, Project 2000, Tecnoform, Thetford, and Truma.
