ARTICLE “DISPOSIZIONI IN MATERIA DI INCENTIVI ALLA ROTTAMAZIONE” PRESENTED TO THE CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES

Further to giving its contribution to present the draft law on en-plein-air tourism, backed by MP Tiziano Arlotti, and with the precious support of Paola De Micheli, Undersecretary at the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, APC is glad to announce that the draft law C. 4444 of May includes the amendment 44.03, Art. 44-bis “Disposizioni in materia di incentivi alla rottamazione”, presented to the Chamber of Deputies. Thanks to the promotion of old vehicles scrapping, last year no less than 67 vehicles had been scrapped after the purchase of a new one in only one month. It means that, prolonging such a promotion for a whole year, the amount requested (8 Million Euro) as part of the draft law would be a totally acceptable request and that counting up to 600 motorhomes scrapped, as provided for in view of such a funding, would have been highly likely. Indeed, the “age” of vehicle fleet in circulation has to be taken into account: in fact, “Euro 0”, “Euro 1” and “Euro 2” vehicles – representing 33% of the circulating fleet – are considered, which corresponds to 70,000 vehicles registered before 2001 and still circulating
