STOPPING AREA OF THE MONTH – MONTAGNANA (PD)

June 2017 “Stopping Area of the Month” is located in Montagnana (province of Padua), Veneto region, and is the awardee of the 20,000 Euro prize offered by the Call for Tender “I Comuni del Turismo in Libertà”, promoted by APC. Thanks to this precious support, the stopping area, located in via Circonvallazione Nord, has been equipped with 9 pitches on a 250 square meter block pavement area, complete with a clean/waste water tank, two EV charging points, sanitary facilities and showers. This motorhome area is prearranged for differentiated waste collection and uses alternative energy sources, in addition to devices for water and energy saving. Montagnana can also boast a reward from the Italian Touring Club: the Bandiera Arancione (Orange Flag) touristic and environmental quality label. Surrounded by green areas, the parking area for motorhomes next to the Hostel is also equipped with a pic-nic and a barbecue area. Open 365 days a year, free of charge, water and electricity are paid.
